Kindle reading apps keeps reporting “unable to download” error message?

I am using an Android mobile phone, recently I installed the Kindle reading app.

At first, everything is going well. I can login my Amazon account, I can see all the books saved in my Kindle cloud library.

When I try to download the books from cloud to my mobile phone, the error happened.

I’ve tried dozens of times, every time the Kindle for Android would report the error message “unable to download”, which means it is failed to download the book to my Android phone, so I can’t read it.

How to solve this problem?

There is only one reason which would cause this kind of problem: the network connection.

I recommend you change to another WiFi or change from WiFi to Cellular (from Cellular to WiFi) network and try to download again.
