How to differenciate two generations of Kindle Paperwhite? KPW1 and KPW2

My husband and I each have a Kindle Paperwhite, while one is 1st gen, another is 2nd gen.

How can we recognize them without wearing different cases or sleeves?

Kindle Paperwhite 1: On the back is “Kindle”.
Kindle Paperwhite 2: On the back is “Amazon”.
