Does it harm my Kindle if I put books in the root path?

0

I have tons of ebooks saved on my Kindle, today when I connect it to computer, I found all of them are saved in the documents folder. In fact, many of them are samples and senseless files.

If I put some of the books to the root path instead of documents folder, will it harm my Kindle or cause any mess?

No, it absolutely won’t harm your Kindle.

However, it would cause a little bit “mess” in my opinion, as the books moved to root path will no longer display at your Kindle’s library category.

I would recommend you delete the sample files and senseless books, instead of moving them to root path.
