How to get Amazon US books in Germany?

I’m an American but live in Germany, I buy the Kindle in Germany, but I want to read the books in US Amazon. Is it possible to do this?

Yes of course you can do this.

1. Back up the books in your current Kindle.
2. Set Kindle language as US English, then restart Kindle.
3. Register the Kindle with US Amazon account.

Then your Kindle will be bind to US Amazon store, and you can buy books there.
