I am using MacBookPro with OS X 10.11 El Capitan, and I need to extract the files of the books synced via Kindle for Mac.

The kindle books are stored in “My Kindle Content” folder in Library of your Mac computer. Here you can check the exact location path and picture of Kindle Books on Mac as under:

~/Library/Containers/com.amazon.Kindle/Data/Library/Application Support/Kindle/My Kindle Content

If you still not get you kindle book then you can find solution at https://www.macoszon.com/where-are-kindle-books-stored-on-mac/

Click “Preferences” or Kindle for Mac app, you can see the content fold path.

By default, the Kindle for Mac books are stored at ~/Library/Containers/com.amazon.Kindle/Data/Library/Application Support/Kindle/My Kindle Content
