Can I root a Kindle Fire which runs Fire OS 5.3.3.0?

In June 2017, can I root a Kindle Fire tablet which runs Fire OS 5.3.3.0? It’s a 5th generation Kindle Fire.

I want to root it and install another OS, like native Android or CM.

At the moment, June 2017, the answer is negative. You can’t root a Kindle Fire tablet which runs Fire OS 5.3.3.0.
